Michelle, I enjoy both of your pieces..... layered drawings. would like to see you push some areas....it may look beautiful in person but it is not reading well on the screen...also crop and rotate your images... might consider pushing some value... love the overlapping and back of figure..great.. portrait.. very interesting composition and layering...good job. only area i would work on is the large black area..go dark right up against figure so that it pushes that area out....crop and rotate on screen....also consider dealing with small sliver on right that is white.....maybe some value to help pull eye..... overall great job on both pieces...shows drawing off well.
